Natural Wooden House Design : Eastern Part of Washington

Natural Wooden House Design by Oska ArchitechLocated in a semi-arid coniferous forest in the eastern part of Washington, the home is essentially a collection of wooden boxes attached springing three stones thrown that the natural bridge undulations of a hill. Designed for a family, the house is deliberately informal in its presentation and in the use of interior finishes.

Inside, the spaces are open and interconnected. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are essentially of a large space with floor-to-ceiling windows, the rooms are grouped in a less open part of the house. A small, detached wooden box lined serves as a home office and is the only concession to privacy.
